Group Therapy

They say it takes a village to raise kids - so let's create our own!

Who is the group for?

Parents and guardians of teenagers who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone in what feels like a daily - endless struggle.

You are concerned about your child, you see them unhappy, unmotivated to do things they used to love, they are closed in their room and seem secluded from the world.

You are looking for the right words to stay, that move that will make it all better again - just like when they were little.

A support group can help you!

Group goals:

  •  Build a supportive and accepting environment where parents can come to be together for each other.

  •  Learn and practice new techniques to help ourselves and our families cope better with daily struggles.

  •  Talk about our teens and better understand their challenges, stressors, and choices

  • Learn about the teenage brain, anxiety, depression, social stress, and how to help them manage better.

Please email to schedule a short intake interview to see if this group is the right fit for you and your needs.

The group is capped at 12 participants and will meet in-person, weekly on Mondays (time TBD) at Ballardvale Collaborative;  204 Andover st. Andover, MA.

Fee for Service: $60 per 75-minute session.

The Process of Therapy

Therapy is the process of change through the building of awareness.

The first step is to be aware of what's going on in my life, relationships, and even in my body.

We all need help or support at certain times in our lives. We deal with so much during the day, and it can become overwhelming. In the process of therapy, we talk about what’s going on, try to explore new ways to cope, grieve over loss, or process the past.

Every person is different, and so is their own unique therapy process.

Therapy starts at the point where you are. That is where we meet.
